What is the process for starting a landscaping project with Kingswood Landscape?

It starts with a conversation. At Kingswood, every project begins with an on-site consultation where we walk the property, listen to your goals, and discuss scope, style, and investment range. This initial step is about alignment—ensuring we understand your vision before putting pen to paper. From there, we develop a tailored concept—complete with design plans, material selections, and layout strategies that reflect both your aesthetic and the architecture of your home. Once finalized, we present a clear, detailed proposal outlining the full scope of work and build schedule. Once approved, we secure your project timeline, coordinate materials, and move into execution—managed entirely in-house, built with precision, and delivered to the highest standard.

Do you design and build pools?

Yes. We design and construct custom pools and spas as part of our whole-yard packages, through our sister company Kingswood Outdoors. Pools are often integrated alongside patios, structures, outdoor kitchens, and softscape for a cohesive and elevated experience, and because our sister company solely specializes in Pools & Outdoor Structures, we are able to provide a turnkey experience.

What is the process like from start to finish?

It begins with a discovery call, followed by a design consultation. Once your vision and scope are understood, we provide a composed proposal outlining your layout concept, materials, and investment path. Because there are so many components to each project, we want to give you a detailed proposal so you can understand the process, the vision, and the monetary value of our projects. Once our proposal is sent and reviewed, we will typically recommend having a masterplan assembled with our team, so that no detail is missed during construction, and so your vision can be fully realized before construction finishes. From there, our team executes the full build—from pre-construction to final walkthrough—with clarity and care.

How Long does a typical project take?

Project timelines vary based on scope, but Kingswood runs an efficient, well-structured schedule across all phases of work. Most new landscape installs are completed within 3 to 4 weeks once construction begins, while landscape remodels typically take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending on complexity. Custom pool builds require more time and detail, generally falling within a 13 to 18 week range. For full outdoor environments that include pools, structures, and hardscapes, clients can expect a build timeline between 10 and 20 weeks.
Before we break ground, we provide a detailed construction schedule so you know exactly what to expect—clear milestones, no surprises, and execution that respects your time and investment.

Sometimes you may not understand how a space will be used—or how it will truly feel—until it’s tangible, so we understand that project requirements and decisions may change. At Kingswood, we approach revisions with clarity and structure. If changes come up during the build—whether it's a material switch, layout adjustment, or added scope—we walk through the impact together. You’ll receive a clear breakdown of any cost differences, timeline adjustments, and design implications before anything moves forward. Nothing is changed without your full approval. Our goal is to keep the project fluid where it needs to be, without compromising execution or losing momentum. We’re flexible—but always focused on finishing strong, with no surprises.

We recommend reaching out 2–4 months before your desired construction start date. Our projects are booked selectively and scheduled with intention to protect quality at every phase.
